You have 80,000 hours in your career. We help you use them to do the most good.
EA Warwick is part of a global movement called Effective Altruism — dedicated to using reason and evidence to find the most effective ways to help others. We help Warwick students think clearly about how to have a real impact. Learn more about Effective Altruism
Our core principles
Whether you're curious about EA ideas, thinking through your career, or ready to pursue research that matters, we're here to help.
Each programme runs for 8 weeks, starting from Week 3 of term. All are free and student-led. No prior knowledge of EA is needed.
Learn and discuss EA ideas with a small group of like-minded students. The Intro Fellowship is a free 8-week programme with weekly readings and facilitated discussions exploring the most pressing challenges of our time — and how to act on them.
Fellows join a campus community of dedicated altruists and gain access to socials, co-working space, and a global network of people committed to doing as much good as possible.
Co-hosted with Warwick AI, this 7-week fellowship is your entry point to a career in AI safety, ethics, and governance. Choose between a technical or governance track, with weekly readings and small-group discussions.
After building the foundations, you'll have the opportunity to develop a project to launch your work in AI safety.
Explore solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time — from food insecurity to environmental degradation and animal suffering. The fellowship examines plant-based foods, fermentation technologies, and cultivated meat.
A free, student-led programme combining self-paced learning with weekly sessions, running from Week 3 to Week 10.
Designed to take you from an initial thesis or research idea to a fully developed, high-impact proposal with a clear Theory of Change. Combines self-directed modules and worksheets with weekly group discussions.
You'll explore what makes research high-impact, map critical global problems, and identify clear pathways to change. Facilitators offer 1-1 feedback on your projects throughout.
Learn how to do high-impact research and produce a small piece of work that can support applications to prestigious programmes like ERA Cambridge. The fellowship walks you through problem selection, finding the bottleneck, developing a Theory of Change, and executing the project.
This programme runs alongside the Effective Thesis Accelerator.
